Direction of Early Childhood Education Analyses and Those Substantial Improvement of Problems in the Existing Kindergarten Curriculum

Abstract
The issues of early childhood education had continued in the world as well as in Korea. Furthermore, the requirement of early childhood education was actually on the rise since .1980 in Korea, while acknowledging the importance of early education. Its education is one dimension of education for life, initial emphasis on early education is placed on the truth that the continuum of a course of study is most important. Therefore, it is important to analyse and solve the issue in the present kindergarten curriculum. In addition, our goal of this paper is to make early childhood education more understandable, more interesting, and perhaps even exciting to the public as well as teachers in their fields. The authors present several issues and concerns about its improvement of problems of present nursery school curriculum as follows:
First, early childhood education will be initially starting point emphasizing on the importance of whole personality development, therefore the starting age of nursery school education needs to be lowered the range of age adapting present kindergarten curriculum and to improve in moderation existing curriculum for childrens¢¥ psychobiological developmental stage, for example, educational age, days of education, and educational time etc.
Second, on considering the operation of kindergarten curriculum, it is suggested that the educational method which the teachers in their fields sufficiently would be applied to a course of study takes a definite form. In addition, we stress that those connected with early educational matters including the political leaders must be established the system evaluating educational effects.
Third, it is the most urgent to establish the concept of early childhood education and to standardize terminology, although terminology in the field of early childhood education is still in the process of development.
Fourth, early childhood education is education of matter through five sense organs. Therfore, it is necessary to develop teaching materials appropriate to those education.
Finally it be found to salve problems of the linking between family, kindergarten and elementary school curriculum in early ch Idhood education.
